IFIC presents Claude Montmarquette: The Gamma Factor and the Value of Financial Advice

The Investment Funds Institute of Canada invites you to a luncheon seminar on the latest study by CIRANO on the value of financial advice. This event will take place November 7, 2016 from 12:00 noon to 2:30 p.m. at the Toronto Region Board of Trade.

The seminar will examine the impact of a financial advisor in building household wealth and the factors that contribute to wealth accumulation. The latest CIRANO study builds on work that was first published in 2012 and brings new and critical insight into the causality of wealth accumulation. It also looks at what happens when households keep or drop an advisor.

The presentation will be made by the author of the study, Professor Claude Montmarquette and moderated by Jonathan Durocher, chair of IFIC’s Strategic Research Committee and president of National Bank Investments.
