Robert Frances is President and Chief Executive Officer at PEAK Financial Group. Robert founded PEAK at the age of 27. It was listed by Profit 100 as Canada’s fastest growing company for six consecutive years. PEAK ranked first place for 4 consecutive years among the top 7 multidisciplinary dealers in the province of Quebec by Finance & Investissement. The firm is currently generating economies of scale following its 2007 acquisition of AXA Financial Services’ assets. Headquartered in Montreal (Quebec), PEAK Financial Group provides full-service securities products, mutual funds and life and health insurance services. Today, PEAK is the largest independent group offering financial services in Quebec and the 4th largest in Canada with over $5.5 billion of assets under administration. Independence from proprietary products is PEAK’s trademark.
On October 1st 2007, Robert Frances was appointed Chairman of IFIC’s Board of Directors, on which he has been a member for the last nine years. He is also a founding member of IFIC’s Quebec chapter, the Quebec Investment Funds Council (QIFC).
His early beginnings as entrepreneur earned him in 1997 Canada’s Top 40 under 40 Award. From 2002-2004, Robert was consistently named one of Quebec’s Top 25 Finance leaders by Finance et Investissement magazine, an award acknowledging the 25 most prominent figures in Quebec’s financial industry. He has served on the boards and steering committees of numerous organizations, such as the CAFP, MFDA, IDA, and is currently President of the John Molson School of Business’ Advisory Board (Concordia University). Robert and his wife Mary are the proud parents of four children.
