Dr. Rick Lash

Rick Lash is the North American Director for Hay Group’s Leadership and Talent Practice.
He brings over 18 years of experience in Organizational Change, Leadership Development, Executive Coaching and related applications to accelerate and maximize the learning process and increase performance at the individual, team and corporate level.
Rick holds a doctorate in psychology from the University of Toronto. He is a registered psychologist and a certified executive coach. He is also widely recognized as an expert in creating cultures of continuous learning and developing Emotional Intelligence. Rick has spoken widely on Leadership Development and organizational transformation. Rick is a regular conference presenter and has appeared on CBC’s This Morning with Sheilagh Rogers. He is co-author of “Achieving Strategy Through People: Integrated Competency-Based Human Resources Management” in Reinventing HR: Changing Roles in the High-Performance Organization. He has also recently published “Top Leadership: Taking the Inner Journey”, which appeared in the May/June 2002 Ivey Business Journal and has also written several articles for the Globe and Mail’s Careers section on Tribal Wisdom and Leadership, Lord of the Rings at the Office and most recently Want Health and Happiness: Be Resilient.
