Don Murray
Chair, Manitoba Securities Commission

Don Murray has been the Chair of The Manitoba Securities Commission since 1997 and is currently the Vice-Chair of The Canadian Securities Administrators. Before joining the Commission he practiced general commercial law, including securities and limited partnership work, for 20 years. He is a member of the Passport Steering Committee of the CSA and the Provincial Taskforce, which groups are co-operating in the streamlining and harmonization of Canadian securities laws and the development of the Passport System for securities regulation. He is a former member of the Board of Directors of the North American Securities Administrators Associations based in Washington, D.C.
