Dan Hallett is the President of Dan Hallett and Associates Inc.(“DH&A”) – a Windsor Ontario based independent investment research firm and licensed investment counsellor. Dan’s research efforts focus on in-depth interviews with Canada’s top money managers, quantitative methods for evaluating manager track records, research on investment strategies and products, and providing tools to help financial advisors better serve their clients. DH&A is a member of the Canadian Investment Funds Standards Committee.

Most of Dan’s 15 years of industry experience has been spent doing research and helping financial advisors enhance the advice they give to their high net worth clients. Dan is recognized as an investment expert. His views and opinions are regularly featured in print, TV, and online media. Dan’s articles appear in Investment Executive, Canadian MoneySaver magazine, GlobeAdvisor.com, and Advisor’s Edge Report. He has also served as a contributor to several academic and mainstream publications on investing and personal finance

Dan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Windsor, is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) licensee, and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. Dan is a member of the CFA Institute (formerly AIMR) and the Toronto CFA Society.
