Craig Worden,
Vice President, Public Affairs, Pollara Strategic Insights
Craig is responsible for managing Pollara's public affairs practice, as well
as providing guidance and oversight
to our financial services and health practices. He provides actionable,
insightful counsel to numerous
client accounts, applying the expertise gained over a decade of conducting
quantitative and qualitative
research for an extensive array of private, public, and not-for-profit
sector clients ñ including large
corporations and many member organizations in the financial sector.
Craig's areas of expertise include issues management, communications,
corporate reputation,
satisfaction tracking programs, stakeholder research, and public policy
development and evaluation.
Craig's specific experience in the financial sector includes leading three
waves of stakeholder
satisfaction tracking studies for the Ontario Securities Commission,
claimant satisfaction and ad tracking
research on behalf of Ontario's Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB),
and various studies for
the likes of Royal Bank, Scotiabank, Deloitte & Touche, the Canadian
Federation of Independent
Businesses, the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, the Prospectors and Developers
Association of
Canada, the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, and the Institute
of Chartered Accountants of Ontario.
Craig began his career at Ipsos-Reid, where he rose to the position of
Associate Vice President
and was a senior public affairs consultant for more than five years. More
recently, he has
managed public affairs practices at Leger Marketing and Angus Reid
Strategies, holding the
titles of Associate Vice President and Vice President, respectively. He has
frequently appeared in print
and broadcast media, providing commentary on politics and public opinion in
Canada. He has also
authored articles on election polling techniques and public trends for such
publications as MRIAís VUE
Magazine and Toronto Life Magazine. Craig holds a BA Honours in political
science from Carleton
University, and a MA in political science from Brock University.
