IFIC is the voice of Canada’s investment funds industry, including fund managers, distributors and industry service organizations. IFIC proactively influences and advances industry issues within the regulatory framework, members’ efficiencies, knowledge and proficiency. IFIC provides a consistently high level of service to enable dealer and manager members to work together in a cooperative forum to enhance the integrity and growth of the industry and strengthen investor confidence.

Who We Are
The Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC) is the national association of the Canadian mutual fund industry. Membership includes mutual fund management companies, retail distributors and affiliates from the legal, accounting and other professions.

Represents, by pursuing alliances/relationships with key stakeholder groups to facilitate the creation of best practices and a harmonized public policy framework for all retail pooled investment products

Advocates, by proactively addressing regulatory issues in a manner that will lead to a fair and equitable structure for mutual funds and similar products

Serves our Members, by providing high-quality, value-added programs and services

Educates, by promoting enhanced standards and knowledge to the industry and maintaining IFIC's strategic influence in industry education

Promotes the Industry, by fostering a positive understanding of the industry and the role of investment funds in building individual personal wealth
